Fred Schultz Tribute

On April 16, 2009, Leadership Jacksonville bestowed its very first “Lifetime Achievement Award” to The Honorable Frederick H. Schultz. Over 400 people were on hand to honor the founding father of Leadership Jacksonville and a man who has made a profound impact on the quality of life in Jacksonville, our region and the State of Florida. Lindsey Films was honored to have been asked to produce a video as a tribute to Schultz that was screened at the event.

“We are thrilled that Leadership Jacksonville entrusted us with such an important project for the event,” said producer, Pepper Lindsey. “We really enjoyed getting to know Mr. and Mrs. Schultz and we think that the video enabled the viewer to get to know them, too.” “It was an honor and a privilige and an experience we will never forget,” said co-producer, Kent Lindsey (LJ Class of 2003).

Others appearing in the video are Mrs. Nancy Schultz, and long time friends and associates Preston Haskell and Bob Shircliff. Narrated by Alton Yates, the video was shot by Kirby Hamilton and edited by Dale Dickison. The video will continue to be shown at Leadership Jacksonville retreats and events.
